Jan Mowbray was elected to the Milton Town Council as a Ward 3 Councillor in 2003, and re-elected November 13, 2006 to a second term. Jan is very active in the community, and is currently involved in the following:
Nassagaweya Community Consultation Committee (NCCC) - secretary; and chair, “Safe Living” series of Public Information Meetings in Campbellville Lion’s Hall and Nassagaweya Community Centre. Next one: March 31, 2009.

Attend all Town Administration & Planning meetings
Attend all meetings of importance to the community which fits into her schedule, such as all meetings regarding the 11th Concession proposed Quarry.
Charter member of the Destination Campbellville Community Association, and chairing the Association’s Planning & Development Committee, and sitting on the Fund Raising and Events Committees.
The Nassagaweya Broadband Committee, which was instrumental in bringing about the successful application to OMAFRA for High Speed Internet in our rural area. Also key to that application was the 170 personal letters attesting to the need for high speed internet.
Cindy Lunau has been a resident of Nassagaweya for the past 26 years, and first elected to Milton Council in 1997. She volunteers much of her time in the community.

· Milton District Hospital - The Hospital Board, the Physician Recruitment Task Force, Strategic Planning, and Finance.
· Friends of Milton Hospital – Steering Committee of this community based group supporting growth for Milton Hospital.
· MMYAC -Council's representative on Milton Mayor's Advisory Council working for, and with, youth to promote youth activities and engaging youth in decisions of Council.
